Zusammenfassung

SABRE - PART III - The Mark of the Veleth is the breath-taking finale to the 'grim epic saga' that fans have been demanding. Dark fantasy lovers will not want to miss this series or its incredible conclusion.

____

Eight years have passed under the eyes of the lynx...

Mount Eldberg awaits the heir of House Olsson, Todd Witherow. Only by uncovering its secrets, and surviving its scorched plains, will he prove himself to Merithia. Only then will his warnings be heeded. Even as evil bloodies their shores and plagues his dreams.

Tired of living in Todd's shadow, Abbey Shelton absconds to uncover Sabre's fate. Do they endure in the Tower of Justice, have they been executed for their crimes, or have they escaped Merithia's grasp? She risks all, but without their steel, will Grenyard's reign of terror ever fall?

In Arcaya, General Bestla's legacy has fallen to his daughter, Heidi. As fierce as her father; war is in her blood. She is ruthlessly determined to seek revenge, to punish those deemed responsible for her parents' death. Father Featherstone is more than pleased to assist her, by utilising her inherited wealth, estate and title in the name of justice. But revenge is a costly aim, especially for one so young.

Annihilation is drawing near. The Veleth's will must be delivered. But who shall burn?

Described as having 'a dark imagination', author C.S.Wood is 'proving to be an expert at his craft'. He's spent over a decade immersed in a Gothic world, laying the foundations for his dark fantasy series, SABRE. Craig spent his former years taking inspiration from Mary Shelly, Bram Stoker, and Stephen King before being led down a Lovecraftian rabbit hole thanks to gruesome media such as Bloodborne, DOOM and The Thing (to name a few). Born in the shire (Nottinghamshire), he also found a love for Tolkien and Rudyard Kipling, after going on many adventures with the Scouts, the Cadets, Duke of Edinburgh, and a band of feral friends. He spent his childhood writing books, complete with gory sketches. This led him to study Journalism at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), where his writing developed. However, his wild imagination would lead him back into the world of fiction. At UCLan, he also studied Imperialism in Asia. He continues to be fascinated by world history, hence his love of Gothic media. When he's not writing gory scenes, Craig performs in a covers band called Parlaiz, he watches Nottingham Forest kick a football, and he dabbles in grim dark or Warhammer 40K. But his favourite passion is being a loving husband and father.
