Carolina Núñez-Puente is Associate Professor of English at the University of A Coruña, Spain. Her fields of research include feminisms and gender studies, critical theory, Anglophone literature, and film criticism. She is the author of Feminism and Dialogics: Charlotte Perkins Gilman, Meridel Le Sueur, Mikhail Bakhtin (2006) and the co-editor of Queering Women's and Gender Studies (2019). She has participated in collective research projects (e.g. RECONFEM) and has been a visiting scholar in prestigious institutions (e.g. King's College). Núñez-Puente has also published articles in academic journals such as Atlantis, Aztlán, Babel, Canadian Review of Comparative Literature, Contemporary Women's Writing, and RAEI, to cite but a few. After producing a multiethnic study of prose, poetry, and film from an ethics-based perspective, her research plans include focusing on humor, memory, and women.
