Barnabas Balint is a historian of the Holocaust, specializing in the history of Jewish responses to persecution in Hungary and France. He completed his doctorate in History at Magdalen College, University of Oxford, under the supervision of Professor Zoë Waxman.

Charlie Knight is an Honorary Fellow at the Parkes Institute for the Study of Jewish/non-Jewish Relations at the University of Southampton. His research centres on German-Jewish migration, letter writing during the Holocaust, and familial memory.
