Dr. Mike Ayers is an author, educator, parenting expert, founder of Father Friend, and host of the Father Friend podcast. He spent twenty-five years in pastoral ministry, counseling and working with hundreds of families through every stage of parenting. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, where his leadership research explored identity development in children and adolescents. He currently serves as a professor of Business Administration at Grayson College.

Drawing from developmental research, leadership principles, biblical wisdom, and his own experience as a father, Mike created the Father Friend Model to help dads understand what their children need from them at every stage of life. A father of three adult children, he lives in the Dallas area with his wife, Amy, a licensed professional counselor.
