A Tale of Two Vampires tells the story of two creatures of the night: one newly created, the other centuries old. It tells of the events that led each of them to take that benighted path, and of the agonies and the ecstasies that each encounters along the way. The tale takes the reader from the gleaming spires of Cambridge to the salons of pre-revolutionary Paris, from the alleys and canals of Venice to the streets of Dickensian London.
