Daughtersong Diaspore is a series of poems, epistolaries, lyric essays, unanswered questions, explorations of kapwa and loó b, critical and confessional, de-colonial offerings of an American daughter for her late Filipino mother.
Barbara Jane Reyes is the author of Daughtersong Diaspore, Letters to a Young Brown Girl, Invocation to Daughters, and others. She teaches in the Yuchengco Philippine Studies Program at University of San Francisco, and lives in Oakland, CA.
