This story follows the character Deklin of House Barkah. Deklin is a price whose entire family was captured and killed in the continuing world of The God King. House Barkah are dragon riders from the realm called Carthage. In Carthage they were known for not only riding dragons, but having a massive fleet and they were great at war on land or sea. They fought a war against the God King Xerxes and were defeated. Mostly all the dragons killed as well except those that were away from Carthage with riders or roaming free and the four dragons Xerxes captured before departing back to The land of the Fallen with his army. Dekin's family got him away before the war started and after his family was all murdered at the hands of Xerxes and his mother raped, beaten, and then finally killed by Xerxes. Deklin returns to find his entire kingdom burnt to the ground. He still has an army of dragons and riders and half of the fleet, but they are no where close to their original strength. Deklin starts to gather allies whom all want him reinstated as King of their people and to rage war on Xerxes. Deklin finds an unlikely ally in a woman named Raven. Raven and her sister queens Giulia and Faye have just passed the initiation to join the ranks of the Immortals and wear the masks of the Immortals and become killers and assassins for The God King and have been given powers that help them become lethal killers. After Faye, dies after giving birth to Xerxes son, Xerxes now spends most of his time with Giulia and his son Crassus, barely touching Raven at all that still craves him. Raven is always sent on missions keeping her away for long periods of time along with her dragon Jade. Jade and Raven are the living embodiment of death now. Betrayal is inevitable.
