Paula McAllister, the youngest of six children and one of triplet girls, grew up in Kansas City, Kansas, where her childhood was filled with sports, laughter, root beer floats, and even swimming in the family's cow trough. Many of the adventures and fears from those days especially her ironic phobia of spiders-sparked the inspiration behind this book. Paula hopes her stories bring readers joy, nostalgia, and a reminder of the magic hidden in everyday moments.
