When, where and by whom was it deemed that the ultimate destiny and legacy of human beings should be that they deplete and destroy the Earth and its resources through their unyielding use, misuse and overuse of those resources in a manner contrary to their own survival?
Is the greed and frenzy of their unrelenting use and consumption of the Earth's resources really the pinnacle of human beings' dignity, intelligence, ingenuity, perseverance and courage?
Or, are human beings capable of doing that 180 degree turnaround and writing themselves a new destiny?
