Zaden gazed at Lester, thankful to see the Forefounder and Cosmic Warrior King with his typical, confident smirk. Zaden slightly lifted his head, feeling a little more confident himself.
Then Zaden gazed at Lula, feeling a wave of peace and serenity to see that calm smile on her face. His tail gave a slight sway. He felt soothed as he watched her laugh softly and snuggle against her pillow. Soon, he felt a yearning to approach her. His heart was no longer racing with angst-instead, it was fluttering, instilled with both peace and excitement.
Zaden turned, about to hover her way. Then he paused, watching as Lester flashed Lula his smirk and ran his tail up her spine while delivering a teasing comment. Zaden began to reimagine himself in Lester's place, drawing his tail up Lula's spine, feeling her soft, soothing fur.
Zaden took a step back. He quickly looked away, gazing at the ground with a mixed look of surprise and guilt. 'Ugh... you perverted loser...'
ABOUT THIS COMPILATION
The Ferret Universe: Shadowed Descendant (Official Compilation - Entries 1-105) is a compilation of short-story entries that take place in the ferret-only Universe of Ferretopia. In Ferretopia, ferrets have the powers to create, destroy, and modify any object they desire. But even with such powers, many are challenged by the chaotic events that disrupt their Universe.
As for Zaden, a melancholic ferret whose life has been characterized by one trauma after another, Ferretopia's chaos is almost nothing compared to the storm of emotional pains he carries inside.
