Traversing the sacred Alltruell Forest, a place not many are permitted to go, and use an unrefined portal created over sixty years ago that may or may not work. What awaits her at Lightning's Well are trials that will test her resolve and emotional breaking point, diving so deep that even she is left confused by the encounter. At the Scorched Mountain, Zayzeen's team of magikins are regaining their strength after successfully creating a barrier around the poison. The spell won't last forever, but it will give Rosey the time she needs to collect the elements. However, the demonic egg at the crater's center isn't going to wait for anyone and no barrier will be able to contain what's about to hatch.
