Alastair Gordon is an award-winning critic, curator, filmmaker, and author. For more than twenty years, he wrote on art, architecture, and the environment for the New York Times. He served as contributing editor on design for WSJ., the Wall Street Journal magazine, and was the architecture/design critic for the Miami Herald. Gordon has written extensively for numerous publications, including Architectural Digest, Vanity Fair, Le Monde, Architectural Record, New York Observer, House & Garden, and Dwell. In 2020, he launched the podcast Poetics of Place, and he has authored more than twenty-eight books. Gordon lives in Milford, PA.
