Timothy Paleczny helped new writers publish their stories in Blood & Aphorisms, a Toronto fiction magazine that he co-founded and led from 1991 to 1997. According to the Canadian Magazine Publishers Association, Blood & Aphorisms was Canada's best-selling fiction magazine throughout its seven-year run. Tim edited Stories from Blood & Aphorisms, published by Gutter Press in 1993.
Tim is happy to have a son and a daughter, and grateful both pursue challenging careers. Tim studied English Literature, earning an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree at St. Jerome's University and a Master of Arts degree at the University of Waterloo. He lives in Barrie, Ontario.
