Dr. John Pierre Craig is a Marine Corps veteran and celebrated author of horror, fantasy, and science fiction. Known for haunting storytelling and characters with raw humanity, his works include Tales of the Billy-Cat and Night Cries.

He is the publisher of Voices in the Well and Emerge: The Journal of Black Liberation, reflecting his commitment to truth and visibility. His fiction explores Black love, identity, and the boundaries of gender and freedom, informed by his doctoral research with transgender veterans.

A native of Washington, D.C., his experiences globally fuel his honest narrative voice. Dr. Craig lives in Maryland with his wife, delighting in his large family and currently preparing his next novel for a Fall 2026 release.
