DIE SKRYWER Eleanor Lombard is in 1950 in Kaapstad gebore. Na haar skoolloopbaan verwerf sy 'n BA graad aan Tukkies, 'n onderwysdiploma (met lof) in Potchefstroom en 'n honneursgraad in geskiedenis aan UNISA. Tydens haar onderwysloopbaan is sy lektrise in Afrikaans aan die Bellville Opleidingskollege. Sy en haar man, Pieter, is lief vir reis en sy publiseer gereeld reisartikels. Sy skryf ook verskeie radiodramas en was 'n finalis in die RSG/Sanlam radiodrama-skryfkompetisie. Sy debuteer in 2022 met Jy handle dit net. Eleanor en Pieter woon tans in Tergniet, naby Mosselbaai. Sy is die ma van drie kinders en die trotse ouma van twee kleinkinders. THE AUTHOR Eleanor Lombard was born in Cape Town in 1950. After school she obtained a BA degree at Tukkies, a teaching diploma (with honors) in Potchefstroom and an Honours degree in History from UNISA. During her teaching career she was a lecturer in Afrikaans at the Belville College. She and her husband, Pieter, loves travelling and she regularly publishes travel articles. She has also written several radio dramas and was a finalist in the RSG/Sanlam radio drama writing competition. She debuts in 2022 with Jy handle dit net. Eleanor and Pieter currently reside in Tergniet, near Mosselbaai. She is the mother of three children and the proud grandmother of two grandchildren.
