Met jare se ervaring in buitengewone onderwys waar kinders met lees- en spelprobleme sukkel om te leer, wil José Palmer en Reinette Lombard met die LEER MY LEES / LEARN TO READ-reeks 'n liefde vir lees by kinders kweek. Hierdie leesreeks met sy prettige illustrasies is saamgestel sodat dit nie net pret sal wees om te lees nie, maar ook woordeskat en leesbegrip sal bevorder. Heloise Maritz is 'n grondslagfase-onderwyser by Laerskool Trompsburg in die Vrystaat. Sy het 17 jaar onderwysondervinding, en gebruik al vir Tippie in haar klas vir 8 jaar. Heloise is 'n medeskrywer van onder andere die Tippie Graad R-boeke, en is verder ook betrokke met ander opvoedkundige produkte in die Tippie-reeks.
THE AUTHORS
With years of experience in special education where children with reading and spelling problems struggle to learn, José Palmer and Reinette Lombard aim to foster a love for reading in children with the LEER MY LEES / LEARN TO READ series. This reading series, with its fun illustrations, is designed not only to be enjoyable to read but also to promote vocabulary and reading comprehension. Heloise Maritz is a foundation phase teacher with 17 years of teaching experience. She works at Trompsburg Primary
School in the Free State and has been using Tippie in her classroom for 8 years. Heloise is a co-author in the Tippie Grade R-books and is also busy with developing different Tippie educational material.
