Sherene Baugher is professor emeritus of anthropology and landscape architecture at Cornell University. Richard Veit is professor of anthropology and provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at Monmouth University. Baugher and Veit are coeditors of The Archaeology of Cemeteries and Gravemarkers.
