In late 2019, the Corona virus caused a worldwide outbreak of the infections disease COVID-19. Lockdowns, quarantine and mandatory masks were only some of the drastic consequences on the everyday life of societies. The essays in this volume examine various aspects of the pandemic and its aftermath from the perspective of the cultural studies.
