Twenty four square meters, that was all that I had. That was my whole world. That was the size of my living quarters where I had spent all of my grown up life in. Without leaving even once. Without any direct or indirect human interaction. Every day following the same routine. I was a part of the machine, an average citizen of mega city six, a city that was run by an AI controlled company called GOD.
My life was boring, generic, but I didn't care. I was working hard to achieve my dream to become one of them, one of the characters of the dramas shown in the evening entertainment hours. But then, one day, she came into my life. A woman at least two decades older than me. She appeared in front of the only window my room had, just to disappear again shortly after. She took my heart with her.
From now on there was only one thought on my mind: To escape my current life, and to find her. Hoping that her and me would become a thing.
