Finally relaxing on a long overdue vacation in Spain, a seasoned detective gets an unwelcome phone call.

What starts out as the death of a young call girl from Dambersky's home town in Central Europe spins into a spider's web of murder, high-end art theft and international intrigue that Dambersky, ironically enough, is unusually well qualified to handle.

The trail will lead him back to the exclusive spa towns of the Czech Republic, to Berlin in Germany and even to Scotland.
