I come from the generation shaped by the Vietnam War, when many children had to leave school at a young age to help support their families. Despite the hardships, my mother insisted we continue our education, even when life was extremely difficult. My father was sent to an "education camp," and our home was burned down just days before the war ended. I still remember the deep sorrow of leaving behind my beloved dog, Mimi?a memory that has stayed with me for decades.
After surviving those challenges, I eventually built a new life in Australia. I was fortunate to attend RMIT University and later, while working full-time as an engineer, I spent my nights completing another degree in science. I love researching, writing technical articles and books, and learning from the brilliant colleagues I have met from around the world. Their perspectives, including their deep spiritual devotion, have taught me valuable lessons.
I have also explored Eastern philosophy and meditation, and I consider myself somewhat unconventional?focused, introspective, and prone to daydreaming. Even as a teenager, I would spend hours gazing across endless rice fields, imagining worlds of my own. Many of those dreams remain with me today. Through my writing, I hope to share my experiences, reflections, and curiosity about life, inspiring others and preserving the lessons of my generation.
