Ellie Dix is a British board game designer from a big game-loving family. She is owner of The Dark Imp and author of the book The Board Game Family. She has games with Gamewright, Ginger Fox, Laurence King, Outset Media, Mindware and Indie Boards and Cards. Ellie was the winner of Hasbro's inaugural "Women Innovators of Play", has been a contributor to industry leading magazine Tabletop Gaming, and her blog The Dark Imp was the most recent winner of Cardboard Edison's "Blog of the Year". Maria Surducan works as an illustrator and comics book author from her studio in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Her works received the 2020 Alfabéta Award from the Hungarian Comics Association, the 2021 Vladimir Colin SF-Fantasy Award as well as the 2021 Comic Art Europe grant and residency. She has also worked on advertising projects, for a long list of clients including Untold, Milka, Sprite, Vodafone, and the Goethe Institute. Maria has illustrated several picture books and board games (Ghosts of Christmas, Zestrea). |
