Catherine Barrett is founder and CEO of Annapolis Analytics, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in AI governance and data management, cybersecurity risk management, and data privacy and security matters. Ms. Barrett, formerly with the MITRE Corporation as a Principal Cyber Policy consultant, was vicechair of the Information Security Committee of the Science and Technology Law Section of the American Bar Association (ABA) for the 2019?2022 period. Previously, she was vice-chair of the ABA public health and policy interest group for the 2014?2015 period. She is also coauthor of What Is Telemedicine?, published by the ABA in 2015. Ms. Barrett graduated cum laude from Regis University with a BA in political science and BS in economics. Ms. Barrett's professional memberships include the ABA, the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Ms. Barrett and her husband have one son and reside in Dublin, Ireland.
