Two changelings: the troubled ghost of Edward de Vere known to posterity by his pseudonym William Shakespeare, and Lila Swann, an abandoned child hiding inside a beloved children's book, meet 400 years apart to attend a mystical scriptorium that teaches the three Rs: Reading, Righting, & Reincarnation in an enchanted forest populated by the characters from 'The House at Pooh Corner'.
