Hannah Carrow is a conservationist ranger dealing with an invasive pest plant that is threatening humanity. On a fateful extermination run, she is thrust into free fall, coming to land right in the centre of a resistance groups' efforts to undermine an authoritarian government.
Coming out of a fresh set of injuries and contending with an opiate relapse through sheer medical necessity, will Carrow be able to put to bed her past mistakes? Or will it entangle her like vines and bury her in the earth?
