By changing their behaviour and embracing honesty, they can maintain friendships and renew and strengthen others. They realise that love encompasses many forms and has obstacles to overcome. Mark and Patrik decide to confront these challenges and support each other wholeheartedly. When Mark survives an attempted murder at his office, they come to understand how fortunate they are and that love is a precious gift.
