Dixon Chibanda, MD, is a professor of psychiatry at the University of Zimbabwe and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. He is the director of the African Mental Health Research Initiative (AMARI). His current research focuses on the Friendship Bench, and he has written and spoken to audiences about his work for The Guardian, The LA Times, the World Economic Forum, the Aspen Ideas Festival, and the TEDWomen conference. http://friendshipbenchzimbabwe.org
