Trunk or Treat is the first contemporary cozy suspense novella in the Christian Women's Club Mystery Series. Too Dead For His Britches, Bless His Dead Little Heart, and Too Cold To Handle are part of the 80s Church Lady Mini-Series which is set in the Christian Women's Club Mystery series.
Readers do not need to read the 80s novellas prior to Trunk or Treat.
About Trunk or Treat:
When a body is discovered at a local church's trunk-or-treat event, all signs point to pre-meditated murder, but could a silly vendetta inspire a few good women to take matters into their own hands? Realizing they're the only people with a motive, the church ladies hide the corpse in a coffin. Unfortunately, while the women host the trunk or treat, a mortician arrives and picks up the casket.
When the Halloween festivities are over, the women are left to solve a crime, locate the deceased, and clear their names, but without any experience in law enforcement, they're leaving breadcrumbs along the way. And someone is waiting and watching for the perfect time to pin a crime on a suspect.
