2023 - Following the theology lectures at "Studio San Paolo" in Catania, I thought I would follow the canovaccio to publicly present the current, precise position of the Catholic magisterium around various points of Western philosophy. Such a drafting allows me to deal more clearly with examinations, so I will try not to stray too far from the thought set forth in the professor's lecture hall. And yet, a simple carry-over operation would have bored me terribly, so in writing, I sometimes supplement, truncate, modify or extend some academic remarks, so that the concluding reports are not fully representative of the professor's thinking! In addition, gaps or personal preconceptions might distort the proper interpretation of the frontal classroom lecture, especially with those (not a few) professors embarrassed or ensnared by students' "hand-raises" which, in effect, interrupt a simple, easy and straightforward narrative, forcing the teacher to an extra effort of synthesis and recapitulation that not everyone is given to sustain, under pain of "going crazy" and "not finishing the program."
I hope with this work to keep company for a few hours with those people who while wanting to know more about the Catholic religion and what its "officers" expound in the relevant (Catholic) universities, do not have the money or time to attend such courses. In the face of a common sensibility around the central issues of the Catholic religion still stuck to medieval views, I believe there is a need today to "break the bread" into very small crumbs and then divide it in all the crossroads of the streets. Since I cannot do this personally, I entrust the task to the web. Thank you for the trust.
