Veli-Matti Karkkainen is professor of systematic theology at Fuller Theological Seminary and docent of ecumenics at the University of Helsinki. An author and (co)editor of more than thirty books, including the five-volume A Constructive Christian Theology for the Pluralistic World (2013-17), his latest is The End of All Things Is at Hand: A Christian Eschatology in Conversation with Science and Islam (Cascade, 2022). He is an ordained Lutheran minister.
