Deep under the frozen tundra in the Alaska wilderness a hidden world has existed for centuries. While drilling for oil, an expedition breaks through a protective dome and releases deadly creatures into the world. With the ability to absorb the knowledge of their prey, the monsters plan to use the human hosts to take over the world. A gritty crew of isolated survivors must stop them before they spread beyond the encampment.
