Jack Dawson has settled into easy retirement living. After solving what locals considered an unsolvable mystery, Jack is somewhat of a local hero. Until, that is, another crime unravels. With so many seniors in the area, Seaside Village residents have begun to feel vulnerable. They didn't have killer problems until Detective Dawson moved there.
As Jack attempts to ignore the scornful looks surrounding him, he soon realizes the killer among them is using the community's disdain to gain some much-needed leverage. And Jack's friends and neighbors must learn to trust him again before the whole city lands in the crosshairs of unimaginable danger.
