Angus Smith (1928-2019) was a well-loved preacher with a passionate concern for the souls of his hearers. He pastored congregations at Snizort-Uig on the Isle of Skye and at Cross on the island of Lewis. His crystal-clear communication style in explaining the Bible matched his personality: lively, engaging, personal, and warm in recommending Christ as the sinner's Saviour and friend. In retirement he supplied many pulpits as well as being in frequent demand as an assistant at communion services. The eighteen sermons in this book come from the final two years of his life.
