Lin Green is a writer, advocate, blogger, public speaker, and consultant based in Orlando, Florida. With a background in criminal justice, public administration, and crisis intervention, Lin brings over eighteen years of expertise in her role with a government agency. A passionate community advocate, she has volunteered extensively with children under the Department of Children and Families and served as program director for a mentoring initiative she co-developed for young women in Seminole County, Florida. As an active voice in her community, Lin has spoken on critical issues like human trafficking, domestic violence, and family transitions at conferences, law enforcement academies, universities, and community forums. She is a member of her county’s Domestic Violence Task Force, the Sexual Assault Response Team, and has served as a liaison with the Greater Orlando Human Trafficking Task Force. Lin is also a member of the Florida Crisis Response Team, where she gets the opportunity to support during national crisis incidents. Her dedication to community service earned her the 2024 Fox 35 News Orlando CareForce Award for going above and beyond in her efforts. Her book Enough with the Secrets, Mama!, was featured in the December Edition of Publishers Weekly and prominently displayed on a Times Square billboard on January 1, 2025. She has contributed to anthologies published by the Seminole County Public Library System (Florilegium Volumes 4 and 5), which benefit the Friends of the Library program. Lin has also been published on Village Connect, an online platform that connects businesses and residents in the Lake Nona, Florida area, where she writes on wellness and self-care. Her work has been highlighted in Orlando Voyager magazine as a “Featured Change Maker,” and she has been a guest on multiple podcast interviews discussing her expertise and personal journey. She serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Green Consulting LLC, a consulting firm she co-manages with her husband.
