When cowboy Maxwell stumbles upon a group of Amish people working in a field, he is immediately drawn to Sandy, a beautiful young Amish woman. Despite their different backgrounds and the challenges that such a union brings, Maxwell and Sandy are determined to make their relationship work. They spend their days exploring the beauty of the countryside and getting to know each other better, learning about each other's cultures and ways of life. They find that they have much in common, despite their differences, and they know that their love is something special and rare.
