Susan Fink Childs, FACMPE, a native of Glen Cove, New York, currently resides in Rougemont, North Carolina, with her husband, Garry, and one very spoiled cat. Her daughter, Cady, son Jacob, and daughter-in-law Mellissa also live locally, providing remarkable family meals, conversations, and gatherings.Ms. Childs established her career in Public Accounting and Medical Administration before forming Evolution Healthcare Consulting in 2002. She has over 30 years of experience in healthcare medical practice management and is a board-certified fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE).Susan is a subject matter expert in the Structural Equation Model (SEM) program on Emotional Intelligence and Practice Operations, applying awareness with experience guiding dynamic and practical workshops and practice retreats. Recognized for her trusted professionalism and proven approaches, she helps medical practices establish conscious processes and strategies that encourage and promote self-awareness. She believes every practice can create high-performance teams.Childs has an extensive background in medical practice operations, personnel and role development, revenue cycle management, front desk Time of Service (TOS) collections, communication, customer service, and physician communications. Susan is a national presenter and international author for organizations including AAPL, AAOE, AAP, MGMA, Ascent, ACC, and the AMA.
