The purpose of this book is to give a wide, tutorial-driven, presentation of the theory of nonlinear wave processes in modern metamaterials. This is developed through the activities of the authors of this book, and includes many new and entirely accessible methods to deal with layered, complex and active media of various physical natures. The authors present, in terms of delightful patterns, modern metamaterials that include hyperbolic, gyrotropic and plasma media, in the presence of bulk, surface, resonant, moderate and strong nonlinearities. They show exciting new wave structures that involve graphene and a variety of environments. The book demonstrates the realistic possibilities of management for wave processes in the type of modern media.
