It tells the tale of Gorkhas' nationality, gallantry and loyalty to the nation. Starting with rearing cattle, it exhibits their efficiency of works in the paddy field. To the Government establishments, including Defence, the fiction also tries to stick out the hearts of Thula and Maila. They examine themselves as the real characters of human in the novel. It reflects the subtle loyal nature of the community people in their relationship with other tribals of Northeastern India, including those of Dima Hasao district of Assam. Besides, it highlights the traditional life of Gorkhas with tribals and their heroism sans recognition-a meaningful presentation!
