MATT S. MEIER is the Patrick A. Donohoe Professor in the Department of History at Santa Clara University. ALMA M. GARCIA is a Professor of Sociology at Santa Clara University, California. She specializes in Mexican American Studies, Gender Studies, and the political economy of Latin America. Garcia grew up in El Paso, Texas, the daughter of a Mexican immigrant father and a second-generation Mexican American mother. |
