Mickey is thinking that he really needs to stop helping people. It only gets him in trouble! This time, while assisting his old friend Nick in attending a business meeting, Nick goes berserk and someone dies. Mickey is stunned, but left to pick up the pieces. He then finds he has not just one man, or one business, against him - but a whole nation. In coming to terms with the trouble that Nick has stirred up, Mickey finds that soft power is preferable to violence. He has to trust his rusty skills of diplomacy to find a way through the forces ranged against him. Even so, things may never be the same for Nick, and Mickey's life won't be the same either. Neither man can turn back the clock and expect to slip easily into their previous cosy lives. The steps they have taken down a new road has taken them into a new world, and even though it seems stable for the moment, they are sailing a new ship in a previously uncharted ocean. Mickey, understandably, is on edge.
