Anxious to leave the garrison community before her children are caught in the stranglehold of this vicious society, she decides to put her quiet nature behind her, take matters in hand, and cross that river, regardless of the consequences.

The victim of abuse, Renee must find the strength within herself to face her foe and create a life that's worth living.
