Robert L. McCullough is best known as the creative force behind numerous hit TV series and movies, including "Falcon Crest", "The New Adventures of Zorro", "Soldier of Fortune", "Star Trek","Hollywood Wives",and "Airport".
He holds degrees from U.S.C., the University of Texas, The American Film Institute, and Southwestern University of Law, and is a long-standing member of The Writers Guild of America West and Directors Guild of America. He has been honored by the Writers Guild of America for Outstanding Writing and Producing on the "101 Best Written TV Series" of all time.
He has authored multiple books dealing with the craft and business of filmmaking and screenwriting, including Stop Screwing Around and WIN Your Next Screenplay Contest, Stop Screwing Around and Write a Screenplay that SELLS, Stop Screwing Around and Format Your Screenplay Like a Pro, Money for Your Movie: Guaranteed, and The Hollywood Screenwriter: An Insider's Guide to Professional Screenwriting.
With his wife Suzanne Herrera-McCullough, he co-hosts the podcast series "Where Hollywood Hides" and co-authored 'Where Hollywood Hides-Santa Barbara: Celebrities in Paradise' and most recently, 'Marry an Agent...or How to Get an Agent Without Even Dating One: The Screenwriter's Guide to Literary Representation'.
As the creators and Senior Judges of online screenwriting competitions atThe Santa Barbara International Screenplay Awards, The Wiki Screenplay Contest, The Palm Springs International Screenplay Awards and Pitch Deck-Sizzle Reel-Trailer Contest, the McCulloughs are constantly reading screenplays and looking for the latest and greatest in writing talent!
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Suzanne had early ambitions far afield from show business, attending UCLA with a social sciences major.
As luck would have it, Suzanne soon found herself on the Universal City Studios lot where she was cast in television series guest roles by Hollywood's most powerful producers and directors.
After studying with Lee Strasberg at The Actor's Studio, Suzanne continued appearing in numerous network TV shows, including Emergency, Quincy, Falcon Crest, Helter Skelter, High Tide, Kojack, The Rockford Files, The Incredible Hulk, Battlestar Gallactica, International Airport, and Fantasy Island.
When asked about her many appearances in such iconic television shows, Suzanne jokingly refers to herself as "almost-almost famous". She even recalls with great humor her stint as an on-air
