Dr. Larry Len Peterson is the recipient of two Western Heritage Awards and the Scriver Bronze. He is an acknowledged expert on art and art history of the American West. His other publications include Philip R. Goodwin: American�s Sporting and Wildlife Artist (2007), The Call of the Mountains, The Artists of Glacier National Park (2002), and Charles M. Russell: Printed Rarities from Private Collections (2008). Dr. Peterson is a native of Plentywood, Montana, and lies with his wife, LeAnne, on the Spirit of Winter Ranch near Sisters, Oregon.
