James Linnane was born in Galway, Ireland, in 1962,has lived in various parts of Ireland, has had various jobs with a career spanning barwork, security, construction and engineering work, published "Never take an Irishman seriously unless he's armed" in 1988(A book of prose and poetry),and is currently releasing his first novel "The life and times of a Gotcha". Has had poems in Boyne berries and Revolve(A local magazine in Meath) also has a substantial amount of work on the writing4all website as James F Linnane. He now lives in Ballivor, County Meath with his wife and two daughters.
I am the youngest of a family of 10.The son of a farmer/building foreman. Also worked illegally for a while as a security guard in America. Moved around most of my life. Got to Dublin at 15 lived, went to school and worked there for 25 years. Lived in Galway till I was almost ten, Meath till I was 15,then went to Dublin, later I lived in Cavan for 3 years and I am back in Meath for the last 6 years I have published a lot of material under James F Linnane on a site called "writing4all" on the internet, a free site for writers. Lots more to come.......I hope.
