Tim Palmer is professor of Film Studies at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, whose research has been supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Council of Learned Societies. He is the author of Irreversible (Palgrave Macmillan, 2015), Brutal Intimacy: Analyzing Contemporary French Cinema (Wesleyan University Press, 2011), and co-editor of Directory of World Cinema: France (University of Chicago Press/Intellect, 2013).
